N4 Graduates
For those of you who just passed N4, congratulations!!!!!!!
Would you please post here any tips and advice to pass on to future N4 students of M. Romena's class.
I have heard that reading the text book, text study guide, chapter tests and possibly some of Lippincot's Q and As were helpful. Is there anything else that you used that helped?
We tutors need to know how to help the next classes.

I heard that it may be different for the 2nd rotation but if it was anything like ours then here is some stuff that I thought was important: Know pre/post op stuff, primary nursing interventions and collaborative interventions, always think why this is important for a nurse, gerontological considerations is a must and patient education r/t disease process or procedures is a biggie.
Good luck, and as always, "It's in the book."
Thanks for the advice so far! Keep it coming so that we can cover all of the learning styles. What did you, visual and hands on learners, have to do to enhance your learning and studies?
