Sample Hemodynamics problems from lecture
These two problems were given to us in lecture by Antaran. I've posted the answers in the first comment.
Problem #1
BP = NORMAL
MAP = 63
CO = 8.2
CVP= 12
PCWP = 20
PVR = 275
SVR = 480
What do you have?
Problem #2
BP = NORMAL
MAP = 63
CO = 3
CVP = 12
PCWP = 20
PVR = 475
SVR = 1800
What do you have?

Problem #1
We have vasodilation, therefore give Dopamine >10mcg and Levophed
Problem #2
We have vasoconstriction, therefore give Diuretics, vasodilate with Nipride.
