Welcoming tea meeting
There will be a meeting in reagards to the welcoming tea on Thursday July 06 at 5:30. Someone had mentioned meeting at downtown stockton so we will find a place to meet there. Please bring with you all of the donations that you have collected and any ideas that you may want to share. This will be our last meeting before the actual tea so I hope that everyone can attend. Thanks again

I hope that your semester tea will be the most successful yet.
One thing that is really overwhelming to some new students is the prospect of having to to get familiar with the computer and navigating to the school page, nursing blogs, nursing 101, docushare, etc. I was wondering if it was possible to borrow the laptops from the computer lab and set up a table in the cafeteria for the new students (kinisthetic, visual learners) to get a computer tour, or set up a computer tour in the lab afterwards. Handing out a paper with web addresses to the blogs and other resources would also be helpful along with instructions on how to get on board.
Just a thought.
I will be at the tea with the SNA and Nursing Grant tutors. If there is anything that I can do or help you with let me know. See you there.

Liana, I can't make the tea since I already have plans elsewhere but if you could post any changes for the tea on the blog that would be helpful. I am still doing what I signed up for so I'll be there.
