Under the comments I've posted information on 2 particular hotels that are offering discounts for the NCLEX review! Just remember that if you decide to go with these hotels you have to mention the NCLEX review for your discount. I will also post an updated roster of who is going and if I missed your name then please add your name and contact info so everyone can coordinate with each other and possibly share expenses! Thank you for your interest in the Ocean Park. Beginning June 3rd, we have a variety of rooms available. For the nurseing review, we are offering one queen for $90.00 plus tax, two queens for $135.00 plus tax and three queens for $165.00 plus tax. All our rooms are non-smoking and include a private bathroom with shower, color cable TV with HBO, fresh coffee service, free wireless and phone service, and free off-street parking. Rooms with two or more beds also include micro wave and fridge.
The Ocean Park is a lovely, family-style motel with two large gardens, a small children’s playground, and an outdoor jacuzzi for our guests. We are located in a quiet, very safe residential neighborhood south of Golden Gate Park, one block from the zoo and the ocean. A variety of excellent restaurants are a few minutes’ drive away, and a breakfast diner is just around the corner.
This is the very first motel built in San Francisco, in 1936. It opened just one month before the Golden Gate Bridge, in what was then the recreational area of the City — when Fisherman’s Wharf was still filled with fishing boats! It has a unique Art-Deco styling, and it has been in our family for more than thirty years. With twenty-four rooms and suites, the Ocean Park is ideal for families who welcome our quiet, garden surroundings and outdoor hot tub after the excitement of downtown attractions. Kitchens are $15-$20 extra with a four-day minimum stay, or on a space-available basis.
From the Bay Bridge:Take Highway 101 south then Highway 280 toward Daly City. Take Monterey Boulevard exit going right for two miles, continue one block on Santa Clara. Turn left onto St. Francis, continue straight onto Sloat. At 46th Avenue, turn right and go one block to Wawona.
BART:Bay Area Rapid Transit brings passengers to San Fransisco. Transfer to MUNI system and take the "L Taraval, Outbound" directly to our door.
